Head Chef Job details
Our Client is a worldwide Catering Operation working in a high profile Manufacturing facility here in Cork. This is an exciting new opportunity to lead the Culinary Team
· To prepare and produce food required by the operation in a hygienic and safe manner to company guidelines and client specification within budget settings and to cover for Catering Manager role and key Catering staff in their absence.
· To take full responsibility for the organised and efficient delivery of the food service operation working closely with the Client and senior Management team
· To produce all food services to the agreed client standard by taking personal responsibility of the delivery with the assistance of a supporting team
· To manage the quality and hygiene of the food cycle from preparation through to delivery
· To actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site H&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment
· Ensure that all costs and expenditure are within the budgeted levels agreed with the Client ensuring the financial integrity of the Kitchen operation
· Train staff to operate within Company procedures and legislation. Maintain training records for all staff, ensuring that individual needs are recognised and met either through on or off job training.
· To be deemed eligible applicants require current legal status to work in Ireland without restriction, EU Passport or Stamp 4 required
· Minimum requirement is 3 years Head Chef experience in Blue Chip Catering Co.
