About Your New Employer 

• A family owned food company based in Cork looking for an Account Manager to join their team.
• The ideal candidate will be based in their Cork city location

About Your New Role 

• Help to manage existing portfolio of clients, for both International and National
  Accounts.
• Build a strategic partnership with customers to enable delivery of the short and long term company plans.
• Manage existing portfolio of clients and generate new business for both International and National Accounts.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all other departments within the company to ensure relevant information is shared in order that support to develop the customer account.
• To build effective external relationships, present new product ideas, whilst exceeding sales and margin.
• Generate progress reports for customers and directors.
• Co-ordination of sales process from start to finish with proactive management of the relationship between procurement, development, technical, operations, and supply chain.
• Develop a thorough understanding of products to better upsell and cross-sell to customers.

What Skills You Need 

• 5 - 10 years experience in a similar industry.
• Possess sales negotiation experience within FMCG or food.
• Experience in negotiation of Cost Price Increases & Joint Business Plans.
• Proven ability to build solid customer relationships to drive successful outcomes.
