About Your New Job

  • Equipment Maintenance: As a Maintenance Fitter, you will set up, install, maintain, and support manufacturing equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  • Problem Solving: You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing damaged or poor-performing equipment, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
  • High-Quality Service: Deliver a high-quality maintenance service to production, ensuring that maintenance works efficiently, effectively, and safely.
  • Shift Rotation: The role operates on a shift rotation (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) and includes on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).

What Skills You Need

  • Experience: At least 2 years of trade experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter.
  • Qualification: Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting Qualification.
  • Background: Experience in a manufacturing environment is ideal.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and provide technical feedback on engineering performance.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to undertake other work as assigned, even if outside the area of normal duties.
  • Must have a valid work permit and visa for Ireland.
