About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join a dynamic engineering and production team. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising manufacturing processes, introducing new products, and ensuring production meets both customer and internal specifications.

You will be responsible for developing efficient moulding processes, supporting automation and tooling initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring robust process development
  • Optimise processes using statistical techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Troubleshoot production and processing issues alongside production teams
  • Collaborate with quality teams to resolve customer-related issues
  • Work closely with suppliers and customers to support ongoing development and improvements
  • Support training and upskilling of team members on new systems and processes
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with quality standards (e.g. ISO requirements)
  • Provide regular updates to management on process performance and improvements

NPI Process Engineer requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Plastics Engineering preferred)
  • 4–5 years’ experience in injection moulding or a similar manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mould tooling, processing, and automation systems
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g. Kaizen, SMED, JIT)
