About Your New Job
- Take full ownership of shift operations, acting as the primary point of contact for all production, quality, health & safety, and facility matters.
- Supervise and support a high-performing team, coordinate workflow, and ensure manufacturing targets and key performance indicators are achieved.
- Actively involved in scheduling, training, performance management, continuous improvement, and clear end-of-shift reporting.
- Facilitate cross-training to enhance team flexibility, champion health & safety policies, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Lead and develop your team through regular feedback, performance reviews, and direct coaching in a dynamic electronic manufacturing environment.
What Skills You Need
- Level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline.
- 4+ years’ experience as a Production Supervisor, ideally in electronics/cable assembly.
- Proven people management abilities, including coaching, team building, and conducting performance or disciplinary meetings.
- Experience with Lean and/or automated manufacturing systems highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills.
- Flexible, energetic, and solutions-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with ERP production systems (desirable).
- Strong awareness of health & safety best practices.
