Project Accountant – Telecoms

Location: South Dublin (Hybrid – 3 Days Office Based)
Salary: €80,000 + Benefits

Our client, a leading telecoms organisation, is seeking a qualified Project Accountant to join their growing finance team based in South Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional with strong CAPEX and project finance experience who enjoys working closely with operational and project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing financial reporting and analysis across multiple projects
• Monitoring and reporting on CAPEX spend and project performance
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Delivering detailed monthly commentary on accounts and project financials
• Supporting project managers with financial insight and cost control
• Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Ensuring accurate project accounting and financial governance
• Identifying risks, issues, and opportunities across project portfolios
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience within project accounting or project finance
• Strong CAPEX exposure is essential
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Experience preparing monthly financial commentary and reporting packs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent Excel and financial systems knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment
• Must be coming from Telecoms or similar Industry
