Senior Property Manager (Retail)

About our Client

An exciting opportunity with a leading global real estate firm has become available within their ever expanding Property Management division. Based in Dublin City Centre, this is a Senior Property Manager role specializing in retail,  and is an excellent opportunity for a Property Manager with at least 3 years experience in the retail space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Maintain and manage relationships with key clients.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of a mixed portfolio consisting of retail commercial assets.
  • Lease Management: Monitor critical lease dates and provide clients with recommendations regarding leasing matters.
  • Property Inspections: Carry out property inspections, manage arrears collection, turnover rent (where applicable), and cash flow.
  • Service Charge Budgets: Manage service charge budgets in accordance with the SCSI Code of Practice.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including retailers and occupiers.
  • Project Support: Support the senior management team on key client assignments and their portfolios.
  • Business Development: Assist senior leaders in preparing materials for client pitches and business growth opportunities.
  • Reporting: Produce high-quality, bespoke client reports monthly/quarterly, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular written and face to face contact with key stakeholders, acting as the face of the company.
  • Compliance: Ensure reports are written and presented to clients to the highest standards.
  • Team Management: Line manage on site and junior staff members.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate and liaise with other teams across the company.

About Your Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial property management, ideally across retail assets
  • Proactive Approach: A hands-on and forward-thinking approach to property management is essential, coupled with strong time management and organizational abilities, as well as the capacity to act independently.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to identify business development opportunities in a strategic manner.
  • IT Skills: Experience using the property management software systems (Yardi)
  • ESG Understanding: An understanding of ESG in property management is not essential, but considered an advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills: This role is best suited to someone that enjoys being face to face and has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Driving License: Full valid driving license with access to your own vehicle.
