About Your New Job
- As the Senior Property Manager, you will oversee a significant portfolio and ensure exceptional service delivery to clients.
- Manage all aspects of the portfolio, lead a dedicated support team, and ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct and prepare building inspections.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of properties.
- Provide consultancy on service charge budgets and expenditures.
- Advise on landlord and tenant matters including lease obligations, dilapidations, and repairs.
- Prepare and review maintenance plans, schedules of condition, and refurbishment specifications.
- Oversee tender processes, manage external contractors and supervise on-site works.
- Contribute to long-term asset management strategies.
- Ensure professional and regulatory compliance across all responsibilities.
What Skills You Need
- Degree in Building Surveying, Property Management, or a related field.
- MRICS or working toward chartership (preferred but not essential).
- 5 or more years of experience in property management / building surveying.
- Strong knowledge of commercial leases and property legislation.
- Proven experience in property management and service charge consultancy.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Experience with property management systems is advantageous.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in both commercial and residential sectors.
- Understanding of health & safety, CDM regulations, and compliance.
- Familiarity with asset management, lifecycle costing, and budget forecasting.
- Contract administration experience.
