An Irish company is looking to hire a Senior Yard Operative for their Dublin 15 site.

About your new job

• Overseeing the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Organising and maintaining the yard to ensure smooth vehicle movement and product storage.
• Checking goods in and out, ensuring all paperwork and records are accurate.
• Coordinating with drivers, transport planners, and warehouse staff to meet delivery and collection schedules.
• Carrying out routine checks on yard equipment, trailers, and forklifts, and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Following and enforcing all health & safety and vehicle movement procedures.
• Assisting with stock checks and keeping storage areas tidy and secure.
• Acting as a point of contact for yard staff, providing guidance and support when needed

What skill/experience you need

• Strong work ethic 
• Mechanical experience is an advantage 
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Forklift experience desirable
