The Job:
As a key part of the accounting & finance team & reporting to the Financial Controller, you will cover a wide remit ranging across all aspects of accounting & finance within a group-wide function.
More specifically you will take ownership of the Accounts Payable invoice processing, resolve invoicing discrepancies, respond to vendor queries, oversee the PO log to ensure accuracy, process bank recs, assist on tax/Vat & audit needs, prepare financial statements & support qualified colleagues on month end & annual close duties.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified in a relevant discipline,
- Part-qualified accountant with at least some of the professional exams completed.
- Experience gained in a corporate or multinational setting would be an advantage but candidates from an audit/practice background may also be considered.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications & accounting packages.
- Experience in using ERP systems would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated & strong ability to build relationships across diverse functions & teams. .

This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary ranging from 40-55k approx. depending on candidate skills, level of qualifications & experience. In addition there is a strong benefits package available to the successful candidate of pension contribution, healthcare allowance, annual bonus & training supports & payments to complete your full qualification.

This role is 4 days on site in their Limerick office with 1 day from home/remote so candidates must be based in the Galway region or willing to commute or relocate.
