Qualified Financial Consultant - QFA

Our client is currently seeking to hire a Qualified Financial Consultant to join their team in County Tipperary.

Their strength lies in a strong local presence, working closely with clients in the community to build trusted, long-term relationships that make a real difference to businesses, farms, families, and individuals.

They are looking for someone who enjoys building genuine client relationships while also developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work with an established client base, strengthening trust and helping clients achieve their financial goals over time. The focus is on creating long-term partnerships that drive loyalty and success.

Location: County Tipperary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clients with comprehensive financial planning solutions, including tailored investment, pension, savings, and protection strategies.
• Manage an existing portfolio of clients and develop relationships with both new and existing clients within the region.
• Identify financial planning needs and generate new business opportunities to achieve agreed performance targets.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of professional advice and consultation tailored to clients' needs.
• Conduct detailed fact-finding exercises, evaluating clients’ financial situations, current provisions, future objectives, and attitude to risk.
• Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes through collaboration and feedback with support teams.
• Maintain professional development and accreditation through ongoing learning, tutorials, and seminars.
• Provide regular updates to management and support teams regarding activities, business targets, and client meetings.
• Keep up to date with financial products, industry developments, and relevant legislation.
• Escalate and communicate operational issues to management as required.
• Achieve or exceed agreed business targets while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and business requirements.
• Travel occasionally within the region to support client and office coverage as needed.

Essential Requirements

• Fully QFA qualified and CPD compliant.
• Proven experience in a similar financial advisory or consulting role.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, personal development, and business growth.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload effectively.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, management, business partners, and clients.
• Proactive and results-driven approach with a track record of achieving positive outcomes.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a sales-focused role within a brokerage or similar financial services environment would be advantageous.
