Quality Control Technician – Permanent

📍 Annacotty, Co. Limerick | 🕒 Mon–Fri, 7.30am–4.30pm | 💶 Competitive Salary

We’re recruiting a Quality Control Technician to join a growing team in Annacotty. This is a varied role combining lab testing, environmental monitoring, and product development. You’ll work on QC processes and also play a part in developing and testing new liquid solutions

What You’ll Do:

• Perform QC testing on raw materials, packaging, and finished products
• Mix and test liquid solutions used in fount and ink production
• Support colour matching of inks for the packaging sector
• Carry out environmental and wastewater monitoring to meet EPA/BOD standards
• Operate and support the on-site water treatment plant
• Calibrate lab and production equipment
• Handle SAP approvals and recipe maintenance
• Support new product development – assist with trials, formulation changes, and raw material validation
• Troubleshoot production issues and support customer claim investigations
• Contribute to cost-saving projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need:

• Chemistry or Science Level 6 qualification preferred
• Experience in wet chemistry, lab testing, or manufacturing
• Understanding of environmental compliance and wastewater treatment
• Strong colour perception – must pass a colour blindness test
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a small team
