We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable main contractor working on a prestigious new apartment development in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established business known for delivering high-quality residential projects across Ireland.

Role Overview:

You will play a key role in the commercial management of this multi-unit apartment scheme, overseeing all financial and contractual aspects from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the project
• Prepare and manage tender packages, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration
• Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations to ensure commercial targets are met
• Lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations
• Work closely with the site team to ensure cost efficiency and value engineering

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years’ post-graduate experience, ideally in residential projects with a main contractor or developer
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Proven track record in managing multi-unit housing/apartment developments
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
