About Your New Job – Production Team Leader

As the Production Team Leader, you will take charge of a team of operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.

This hands-on leadership role acts as a key liaison between the production floor and management, with a strong focus on team performance, problem-solving, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising daily operations and managing production schedules.

• Driving output and quality goals while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards.

• Leading shift handovers, monitoring KPI performance, and maintaining accurate records.

• Managing materials, equipment, and workflow across the floor.

• Overseeing attendance, supporting HR processes (leave, discipline), and fostering a positive team environment.

What Skills You Need

• 2+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing or production setting.

• Strong understanding of quality systems, health & safety regulations, and lean manufacturing practices.

• Excellent leadership and team motivation skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.

• Confident using KPIs, shift scheduling, and reporting tools.

• Flexible and open to attending occasional training or meetings outside core hours.
