About Your New Job – Production Team Leader
As the Production Team Leader, you will take charge of a team of operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.
This hands-on leadership role acts as a key liaison between the production floor and management, with a strong focus on team performance, problem-solving, and process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising daily operations and managing production schedules.
Driving output and quality goals while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards.
Leading shift handovers, monitoring KPI performance, and maintaining accurate records.
Managing materials, equipment, and workflow across the floor.
Overseeing attendance, supporting HR processes (leave, discipline), and fostering a positive team environment.
What Skills You Need
2+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing or production setting.
Strong understanding of quality systems, health & safety regulations, and lean manufacturing practices.
Excellent leadership and team motivation skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Confident using KPIs, shift scheduling, and reporting tools.
Flexible and open to attending occasional training or meetings outside core hours.
