Fexco Payments and FX are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.This role can be based from home or in one of our offices based in Ireland.
Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new opportunities; delivering challenging sales and revenue targets with a view to increasing Fexco’s portfolio of DCC and TFS merchants in Ireland. Working effectively in a collaborative manner with other Sales Specialists and Regional Business Development Managers within the Payments & FX division and wider Fexco Group.
Develop and implement an aggressive sales strategy for DCC and TFS to drive new business growth in Ireland.
Generate & maintain a pipeline of quality prospects & targets.
Manage sales process from prospecting, sales & negotiating through to contract closure and hand over to Projects when applicable, whilst maintaining the business ownership until live.
Work consultatively with targets to ensure customer is confident in Fexco’s DCC and TFS capability to meet requirements, i.e. able to understand & sell Fexco DCC & TFS and adapt product offering to relevant audience working collaboratively with internal business areas across Fexco.
Responsible for DCC & TFS new revenue growth within the Irish market - meeting and exceeding the revenue expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Work closely with Payments & FX senior management to ensure comprehensive account and market penetration and that growth plans are clearly defined. Work with Payments & FX Revenue Maximisation Team to complete annual Sales Revenue Budget.
Conduct ongoing analysis of the Irish market and competitors to ensure Fexco DCC & TFS products stay ahead of market demand. Establish an acute knowledge of competitive pricing and service/product offerings to ensure an acceptable win rate at acceptable margins for Payments & FX.
Co-ordinate prospect /customer visits with Payments & FX specialists, Key Account Managers and Payments & FX Professional Services.
Maintain company and contact information and document all sales calls, customer visits and business opportunities in Oracle CRM.
Promote communication, collaboration and co-ordination between Sales, Key Account Management, Professional Services and all other relevant Payments & FX departments and with prospective customers.
Remain up to date on all developments within the payments industry; understand any necessary compliance related changes.
Introduce other Fexco Group Products and services as appropriate, e.g. Fexco Corporate Payments and assist in identifying and delivering Global and European merchants to Fexco.
Experience working in the payments industry.
Outside sales experience with a proven history of consistent achievement.
A proven sales track record of presenting, influencing and negotiating at C-level.
Flexible attitude to working hours and a willingness to travel regularly.
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office suite of products and experience in using CRM tools, Oracle CRM would be an advantage.
Experience of banking and credit card payments industry is an advantage.
Confident and professional candidate with excellent oral & written communication skills and an ability to develop / maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization; ability to create & deliver sales presentations tailored to the relevant audience & respond to RFPs as required etc.
Resilient and self-motivated with proven track record in cold-calling, creating and generating new leads with demonstrated experience of proactively following leads to a successful conclusion.
Ability to work on own initiative with the tenacity to pursue and close sales opportunities even those with a long lead time and work under pressure to tight deadlines as required.
Effective pipeline management and prospecting skills.
