Sanderson is working in partnership with its long established Financial Services client on a search for an HR Officer for a fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work within a busy HR operations team that supports multiple sites. This is a generalist role that supports staff with the effective delivery of best practice day to day HR services.
Support staff across Northern Ireland on queries relating to HR policies and procedures
Administer the sickness absence process including Occupational Health referrals and reporting
Administer statutory and company leaves
Support the administration of pensions and benefits including company bonus, salary increases and share schemes.
Support queries from staff and people managers on payroll related matters
Support the tracking of the Minimum Competency Code (MCC)
Support local reporting of annual returns to the NI Equality Commission
Ensure systems are accurately updated and support staff with any HR system queries
Use systems to effectively monitor, track and audit HR processes to mitigate risk
Skills and Experience
Strong knowledge on employment legislation in Northern Ireland
Working knowledge of Data Protection obligations and confidentiality
Strong Excel skills and analytical ability
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar HR Generalist role
