Accounts Assistant - Part Time

Our client, a highly successful & expanding e-commerce focused organisation in Limerick city centre, have now engaged with us in Cpl to help them recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the finance team & help support their next phase of growth. This position will be worked on a 3-4 day working week or blended mix to suit both parties.

The Job:

As a key part of the accounts team & reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be a tasked with duties ranging across all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable & financial reporting in a fast paced, dynamic office environment.

More specifically this will include taking ownership of the company's AP & AR reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, resolving customer & supplier invoicing queries, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow & budgeting activities, assisting on tax, Vat & audit processes, supporting the monthly accounts close & working closely with the FC & other unit managers on financially focused projects.

Your Skills & Experience that we need:

  • 3rd level degree qualified or above in a relevant discipline ideally
  • A further qualification such as Accounting Technician or similar, would be an advantage.
  • 3+ years’ relevant accounts support experience covering ideally both AP & AR.
  • Fully proficient with IT & reporting tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal & organisational skills.

The Offer:

The role will be offered on an initial 12 month contract but with very strong expectation of converting to a permanent role within that time. Starting salary will be approx. 40k pro-rara + pension contribution, free car parking & potential annual bonus from year 2.

This role will be initially fully office based in Limerick city centre but may move to a hybrid role after initial training/on-boarding.

Candidates with restricted visas/work permits will not be considered.
