Financial Controller

The Job:
As a key part of the overall leadership team team & reporting to the Limerick based CFO, you will cover a wide remit ranging across all aspects of accounting as well as management of the finance team.
More specifically you will lead the preparation & delivery of the group-wide financial statements, oversee the monthly & annual accounts close processes, assist in forecasting & budget preparations, coordinate Vat/tax & compliance reporting, run internal & external audits procedures, analyse financial data to drive commercial planning at executive level, handle group-wide financial projects (including implementing new technology & tools) & lead as well as mentor your junior colleagues within the finance team.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree qualified in a relevant discipline ideally.
- Fully qualified accountant with at least 4+ years' corporate & commercially focused industry experience.
- Experience gained in a fast paced commercial sector (eg multi-site retail, hospitality, shipping/logistics, auto, etc.) would be an advantage.
- Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications & accounting packages.
- Self-motivated & strong ability to build relationships across diverse functions & teams. .
The Offer:
This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary ranging between 70-80k. depending on candidate skills, qualifications & experience. In addition there is a strong benefits package available to the successful candidate & excellent future career growth & development opportunities.
This role is expected to be fully on-site in their Limerick office but with some capacity to work hybrid/remote on occasion.
Candidates without full eligibility or work permits to live & work in Ireland will not be considered.
