Payroll Administrator – 18 Month FTC
Location: Limerick (Hybrid)
Team Size: Internal Payroll Team | Reports To: Payroll Manager

Overview
An excellent opportunity to join a leading global professional services firm as a Payroll Administrator on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This role is part of the internal payroll team, supporting payroll operations across multiple entities and ensuring delivery of a high-quality payroll service in line with local legislation and company policies.
The successful candidate will be involved in the full payroll life cycle, supporting both BAU (business-as-usual) payroll activities and special projects, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.
Core Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Administration
- Collate and prepare all inputs in advance of payroll deadlines
- Support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities
- Process monthly PAYE submissions on ROS
- Manage voluntary deductions (health insurance, Credit Union, etc.), including updates and reconciliations
Employee Support & Queries
- Respond to employee requests and queries via the internal ticketing platform
- Escalate complex queries when necessary
- Maintain excellent employee service standards
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure payroll compliance with GDPR and internal policies
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality across all payroll activities
- Support payroll audits and process reviews
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Assist payroll peers with special projects related to payroll function
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
- Collaborate closely with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll operations
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- IPASS qualification (essential)
- End-to-end payroll processing experience
- Experience with MegaPay desirable but not essential
Technical Skills
- Strong Excel skills, including data validation and analysis
- Experience managing high volumes of payroll data
- Familiarity with HR/Finance systems such as Workday is an advantage
