A leading European company in the engineering and construction industry is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Analyst to join its Group IT SAP Team. This organization delivers complex construction projects for top-tier global clients across sectors such as data centers, life sciences, and advanced technologies. Role Overview:

The SAP FICO Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, support, and ongoing optimization of SAP FICO systems to support evolving business needs. This role plays a key part in ERP transformation, including the move from ECC6 to S/4HANA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

System Configuration & Support:

• Work with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for finance process improvement within SAP.
• Participate in the planning and execution of the transition from ECC6 to S/4HANA.
• Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Resolve system issues and support users across departments.
• Maintain data integrity and streamline daily finance operations.

Integration & Collaboration:

• Support system integrations between SAP and other enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects to improve financial workflows.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and propose system enhancements to improve functionality.
• Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA best practices and new features.
• Assist in testing and validation during system upgrades or changes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration and support.
• Skilled in system troubleshooting and user support.
• Experience with integration tools and understanding of data flows.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of SAP BW and OpenText VIM.
• Familiarity with SAP Concur.
• Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Analytics is a plus.
