General Foreman – Cork

Salary: €65,000–€75,000 DOE + Benefits

An established main contractor is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their team on major construction projects across Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled General Foreman to take a key role in the successful delivery of multiple projects, including developments in Cork City Centre and Carrigtwohill.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating trades, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently, and supporting the Site Management team in delivering projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily site activities and construction works.
• Supervise subcontractors, trades and site operatives.
• Ensure works are completed in line with programme, quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress and report to the Site Management team.
• Coordinate materials, resources and labour requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a General Foreman, Site Foreman or Senior Foreman.
• Strong background delivering construction projects with a main contractor or specialist contractor.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site coordination.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with site management and subcontractors.
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality.
