As Ireland’s leading cancer charity, the Irish Cancer Society works across every area of cancer – from prevention and early detection, through to end-of-life care. The Society makes a positive impact for people affected by cancer every day: investing in lifesaving and life-changing research, providing practical, financial and emotional support and driving improvements in public cancer services. Employing c400 people nationwide, including c200 night nurses, the Society is supported by thousands of volunteers in its fundraising activities and the delivery of services. The Society works in every county in Ireland and through Daffodil Centres in 13 hospitals and 21 charity shops nationwide.

The Irish Cancer Society is a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together, we are working to save lives and improve the lives of people affected by cancer in Ireland.
