About Your New Employer

We are looking for Process Technicians to join a forward-thinking company that values continuous improvement and technological advancements. This will be a 12 month contract located within the Medical Device industry in Galway. As a Process Technician, you will responsible for process-related issues within the production environment.

About Your New Job as Process Technician

•  As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production environment, addressing issues related to yield, downtime, equipment, and processes.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, standardize, and enhance existing production methods and procedures.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting, mechanical hardware interfacing, and assist in the design and implementation of new production methods.
•  Execute and document preventative maintenance on equipment, taking ownership of procedures within an assigned process or area.
• Manage yield, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement, actively contributing to the core team's continuous improvement initiatives.

What Skills You Need as a Process Technician

• HETAC Level 6 qualification or higher in a relevant area (120 credits).
• Knowledge of GMP regulated environment and experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving skills, systematic root cause problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently with good decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a passion for technology.
