Graduate Project Manager - Construction

Graduate Project Manager required for market leading construction and civil's contractor in Dublin.

This group operates internationally in every aspect of construction and maintenance for roads and for other types of transport infrastructure as well as on projects involving urban development and recreational facilities. The operation in Ireland primarily involves the distribution of bitumen products, emulsion manufacturing, chemical manufacturing and the provision of specialist road maintenance services on the national, regional and local roads network. They provide their Irish customers with an all-island cross border business operating from 12 locations.

About Your New Role

Your new job as a graduate / junior project manager will consist of :

• Daily site visits to both asphalt crews and civil's crews.
• Development of site progress reports.
• Ordering of site materials, ensuring Health, Safety & Environmental standards, policies and procedures are being adhered to on sites.
• Use of GPS for setting out, measuring and as built records.
• Tracking of site costs.
• Application for road opening licenses.
• Development of traffic management plans.
• Preparation of relevant paperwork for new projects.
• Updating of relevant contract safety files.

What Skills You Need

• A Diploma/Degree Level in Civil Engineering/Construction Management.
• Experience in using AutoCAD.
• Experience using GPS.
• MS Office.
• Full driving license.
• Good interpersonal skills.
