Company Description: Our client is an established and growing German Retailer with Extensive Irish Operations and one of the largest retailers in the world

Due to this expansion we now seek individuals for the role of Fluent German Purchasing assistant.

Key Responsibilities: Working within a demanding and busy purchasing office you will:

Assist Purchasing Managers with New product Listings ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all product data

Communicate and liaise with shops on all Promotions

Ensure clear lines of communication are maintained between purchasing Department and all management in Store

Maintain checks on competitors pricing and offers in the press and media

Support the Buying team by being a reference point for all supplier queries

Attend Promotional Meetings

Assist Buying team with analysis of sales, promotion and margin information

Maintain the performance and the communication of Promotions

Ensure the accuracy, integrity and adherence to timelines with New Product Listings to Data team

Maintain the reputation and professionalism of Purchasing Department

Interface with Marketing for all POS and Best practices

Interface with Supply Chain for all functions / POs etc.

Additional duties may be assigned in line with the requirements of the business

Skills & Experience :

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)

Fluent Oral and Written German

3+ years is a very busy office enviorment

Exceptional Excel and word Ability
