Senior Training Specialist with a minimum of 4-5yrs experience in Training within a multinational manufacturing environment required for maternity cover contract in Athlone.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with business managers and MyHR to evaluate development needs for all employees and produce a training plan in conjunction with departmental manager.
  • Identify and evaluate the appropriate training interventions to meet the gaps identified from role profiles.
  • Deliver where appropriate, training material to meet training needs.
  • Facilitate the delivery of external material on/off site.
  • Ensure training materials, administration and information systems are effective and are aligned with current approaches to learning on site.
  • Evaluate training interventions to ensure critical training requirements are met.
  • Grow own skills and knowledge in Management / Employee development and effectively meet gaps in this area in line with identified needs.
  • Identify and implement in conjunction with training team training initiatives to focus on employee development and enhance the learning culture.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualification in Organisational development / training or behavioural sciences or another appropriate qualification.
  • Minimum 4-5 years relevant experience in Training in a multinational / manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the design and delivery of training courses.
  • Proficiency in MS-Suite, Web and other common IT systems.
  • Experience / knowledge of Training methodologies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry / related industry ideal.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels within and external to the organisation.
  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects in an effective and confident manner.
