Job Duties:
Purchases, plans and schedules movement of finished goods from supplier to customers and inventory process.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve any supply issues with suppliers;
Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve delivery/receiving problems
Carry out forecast analysis in conjunction with the Forecasting team
Analysis and reporting of inventory levels.
Direct liaison with suppliers to ensure good quality of service.
Collaborate with suppliers, customers and resources to implement, maintain, and enhance world class supply chain management practices.
Communicate to all stakeholders with timely information on technological innovations, process improvements, and cost saving
Implement new initiatives within the supply chain as required.
Job Requirements 5-10 years buying experience in a multi-national commercial environment, preferably automotive or engineering
3rd level qualification in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management/Logistics or other equivalent is preferable
Experience of buying parts/components is a distinct advantage
Remuneration :
€35-45k plus benefits, depends upon experience
