Position : General Manager

Position Summary :
· Manages operations through a team of functional managers and supervisors.
· Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving efficiency. Assists CEO in formulating and administering company policies by performing the following duties personally or through direct reports.
· This position is responsible for the planning, transition and execution of the company’s delivery model.
· This role contributes to the overall management of the company and shares accountability for achieving business results.
· Manages and delivers all client services, ensuring rapid response and high satisfaction levels. Responsible for the management and development of team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • General management of all departmental functions, including sales, marketing, human resources, technology, finance and customer care.
  • Be the guardian of the company’s brand equity and public image to clients and other stakeholders.
  • Influencing and managing the level of demand for the company’s products and services.
  • Team leadership and efficient professional management and development of all staff
  • Report to CEO and other members of the senior management team, the total company revenue targets, leadership and vision challenges of the organization.
  • To maximize and maintain the number of customer connections.
  • To achieve the financial objectives of the company as per the approved company budget.
  • To consistently achieve efficiencies in all areas of the company
  • Manage and develop management team in order to grow and develop business.
  • Continue to develop a thorough understanding of the market forces and competitor activity.
  • Staff Management: Managing all staff issues, including recruitment and selection, training, appraisal, rostering, disciplinary issues and wage budgets.
  • Sales & Customer Service: Achieving sales targets, monitoring and improving service standards, complaint management.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Developing an effective marketing plan for the company, generating new business through research and promotions.
  • Health & Safety: Implementing company Health & Safety policy ensuring compliance with legislation.

Has people management responsibilities for all company employees.
