Overview
The Memova suite of applications and services enables people to communicate, connect, share and organise while providing industry-leading safety and assurance.

The Senior Director, Marketing is a highly motivated and creative professional who is responsible for the development and implementation of product propositions for the Company. This includes identification of target audiences, development of product characteristics & differentiation, channel development, communication & collateral, outreach and evangelism. The Senior Director, Marketing will liaise with both the Company’s sales leadership and the product delivery team to bring propositions to the market.

The incumbent will direct a small team of product marketing specialists, and coordinate field marketing staff in major regions. Reporting to the CTO, he/she will also participate as a member of the Global Leadership Team.

Key Results Areas
  • Identifying & assessing market needs & opportunities
  • Developing new product propositions and positioning them for different audiences
  • Analyzing product performance and sales success
  • Documenting product profitability and operational metrics
  • Creating and maintaining the business cases for each proposition
  • Generation of product list pricing
  • Leading determination of buy/build/partner selection
  • Serve as the proposition evangelist when dealing with thought leaders, analysts, and press
  • Coordination & liaising with field marketing staff in major regions
  • Developing & securing internal support for go-to-market plans
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry technology and trends, best practices, partners, industry knowledge providers, and competitors


Qualifications & Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree, and ideally a Masters Degree/ MBA or equivalent business experience.
  • Ten years work experience in software industry, in product marketing, product management, development, or technical sales
  • Three to five years of strategy management experience with converged messaging software products or converged messaging services, ideally within media/content management with a focus on mobilized offerings
  • 2+ years of business development experience
  • Ability to travel within EMEA, APAC and North America for customer/partner visits 20-25% of time

  • Ability to carry out complex analysis, competitive intelligence and market research projects and create clear concise presentations on quantitative and qualitative findings to senior management
  • Team-oriented professional with the ability to work in a start-up business environment and establish relationships across the organization
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Demonstrated ability to act as both internal and external product evangelist
