Packaging Engineer is urgently required for a 12 month contract in Limerick

Role:
+ The development of complete packaging concepts and specifications
+ Application of new technologies, materials and cost reduction projects.
+ The role includes the opportunity to lead and participate in cross-functional projects involving process, production and aspects of medical device technology.
+ Ensure quality of process and product as defined in appropriate OS and Material specifications.
+ Ensure GMPs and process safety.
+ Troubleshoot the systems and processes.
+ Train manufacturing team members.
+ Interface with Design and Quality Assurance departments to provide customer with a quality product in a timely manner.
+ Validation, appraisal and support of packaging suppliers - (equipment and material).
+ Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and with external agents.
+ Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross divisional process improvement initiatives.
Role;

+Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Packaging Technology or equivalent.
+The Individual must have a background in packaging and cleaning operations within a regulated environment.
+ At least two 2 years experience in a relevant engineering role within a regulated environment.
+ Business understanding of operations and their impacts essential.
+ Strong communication skills with both internal and external agents.
+ Flexibility essential with strong project management skills.
+ The individual should enjoy working in an aggressive, dynamic and results motivated team based.
