Job Purpose
· To operate an efficient and professional quality inspection on material and products
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Material inspection and testing to defined sampling plans
· Work closely with operations staff on material/supplier issues
· Coordinate First Article Inspection and approval
· Co-ordinate Non Conforming Material processing
· Communicate with sub contractors regarding material quality problems
· Support Supplier Quality Engineer
· Run Reports of material metric and assist improvement actions.
· Audits of material and assemblies in production locations as necessary
· Training in quality inspection standards and methods as necessary
Key Competencies Required:
· Ability to work on own initiative,
· Good communication skills.
· Flexibility
· Experience of high volume manufacturing desirable
· Computer literacy in particular MS Office
· Solderability standards and testing
· Use of callipers and other mechanical measuring devices
· Ability to read blueprints drawings etc
Previous Relevant Work Experience:
2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Leaving Certificate + 2 years relevant manufacturing experience
