Global Investment Platform Director

The SEI Global Funds are comprised of four UCITS (Dublin), a QIF (Dublin), and a PIF (Dublin), and several unitized separate accounts. This dynamic product structure serves the Private Bank, Institutional, and Independent Advisor market units through a complex share class structure that ranges across multiple currencies and pricing models. The Platform Manager/Director will lead a team comprised of a Platform Manager and a Platform Associate in the managing and coordinating the functions that comprise the global investment platform. In coordination with the broader Investment Product Team, the Global Investment Platform Team acts as a central resource for investment product development and implementation. The Platform Director will also take an active role in managing the various internal and external partners employed to provide critical operational functions within the funds.



Responsibilities

  • Lead investment product implementation and management efforts for Global fund range including fund/share class activities and sub-advisor hiring.

  • Coordinate with Product Managers to determine infrastructure impact of new products and solutions.

  • Work with internal and external functional partners to coordinate efficient product implementations

  • Maintain and develop detailed cost analysis of investment platform in order to provide business case input to new product and solution initiatives.

  • Support broader IMU and market units concerning information with the funds.

  • Work with internal and external partners to maintain and improve processes.

  • Develop and maintain market knowledge concerning the delivery of global investment products.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will experience with global investment products including UCITS and non-UCITS. An understanding of fund accounting and advanced investment strategies including portable alpha is preferred. The candidate will also have proven project management experience and the ability to coordinate several parallel efforts.

Location

Ideally the candidate will be based in our London office but the position can also be based from our head office in Philadelphia. Therefore we will accept applications from candidates based in the UK or the US. Some travel will be expected.
