The position will require you to relocate to the island for the length of the contract. This is a minimum contract of 6 months, working 39 hours per week 5 day's out of seven, rate of pay is €15 per hour.
Duties will be to cook for no more than 15 people on a daily basis providing lunch, afternoon tea and an evening meal, traditional Irish dishes will make up most of the menu for lunches / dinner and simple baking will also be required for afternoon tea such as scones, Victoria sponge cakes etc.
HACCP must be up to date and 2 - 3 years experience required in either a senior chef de partie or sous chef position would be idea, you must be comfortable working on your own and be responsible for the whole kitchen operation for the facility in regards to hygiene, food stock and ordering, menu's etc.
Inis Mor is the largest of the Arran Islands but is still a remote part of County Galway and the right candidate must be prepared to live the island life for the period of this contract and fully understand and be able to commit to living and working on Inis Mor.
