Our client, based in Cork is an International Shared Service Centre for a global leader in software and services. . They are currently seeking a Level II Technical Support Engineer (French) to join their expanding team.

Role Objective & Key Accountabilities

• Working in a fast paced, high pressure environment under minimum to moderate supervision to support deployment, integration and maintenance of products within clients networking environments.
• Manage a diverse and complex scope of support issues directly related to the use, support and implementation of products and solutions with effective customer skills required via telephone and email to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by understanding and identifying the customer's complex networks.
• Share best practices with other team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of support services.
• Effectively interact with other members of the team to provide solutions to complex technical issues.
• Attempt first call case resolution, software/network troubleshooting and proactive support services.


Skill Set Required

  • A very strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and understanding of TCPIP networks is a requirement
  • Fluency in English and French (Spanish/Italian an advantage)


Qualifications

  • MCSE Certified preferable
  • CCNA would be an advantage
