Our client seeks enthusiastic, driven, technically gifted Software team leaders to work in exciting new technology products.
Various opportunities are available in many areas, including Services Oriented Architecture, Web 2.0, Learning, Social Computing, High performance computing and collaborative computing.
As a Software team leader, you will lead teams of developers with varying levels of experience. You will be responsible for working with other lead engineers and architects designing the architecture of the software and developing system design specifications. You will develop complex features of the product and provide mentoring and coaching to the more junior developers on the team.
You will work closely with Test, User Experience & Documentation teams to ensure quality in the end product. As a team lead will also assist the manager in scheduling and tracking the project. As a team lead will be required to work across team boundaries, liaising with other teams and architects worldwide. You will also have the ability to seek publishing and patent opportunities in your daily role.
Senior / Experienced Software Developer
Job description:
As a senior/experienced software developer, you will join a team of junior and senior developers, team leads and architects working on product development. You will work closely with the lead architect and team leader designing and developing complex features of the product.
Senior/Experienced software developers are required to design specifications and work with more junior developers on implementation. You will develop new features and enhance existing features of products.

Required Experience:
At least 3 years leading teams of developers
At least 7 years experience of software design and development
Expert knowledge in a wide variety of technologies
Demonstrated recent experience in Java/Web technologies
Excellent Communications skills
Fluent English
Desired Experience
Experience of large scale product development
Experience in Java/Eclipse development environment
Experience in preparation of technical documentation including software architecture and design
Experience in customer requirement gathering as well as handling feedback and dealing with customer issues.
Experience in Agile or Extreme Programming methodologies
