Purpose of Job:
Reporting to the local Financial Controller, the Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for ensuring data is processed on a timely basis and recorded accurately.
Major Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
- Standard costing for current and new products
- Monitoring & reconciling inventory transaction within Oracle
- Reconciliation of the Sales & Cost of Sales
- Work closely with production and quality re inventory write offs
- Review production order & cycle count variances
- Work closely with Supply Chain in relation to stock control
- Ensuring compliance with SOX controls
- Development & implementation of internal financial & operational controls
- Preparation of rolling monthly forecasts & annual budgets
- Evaluating cost reduction initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years experience in costing or inventory accounting in a manufacturing background.
