The purpose of this role is to ensure the success of recruitment for SAP® Service & Support Centre (Ireland) Ltd., while working as part of the overall SAP Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Recruitment team. The SAP Ireland recruiting team’s focus is to increase the level of business service we provide and to become a ‘Best in Class’ recruitment function, while working as part of an overall EMEA recruiting team.

This role will primarily be based in our Galway office yet have responsibility for meeting the recruiting needs for our lines of business in both our Galway and Dublin support centres. The successful candidate must be available to travel between sites. The successful candidate will work as part of the EMEA Recruitment team and may be required to support the recruiting needs of other locations throughout EMEA. This work is facilitated by our online recruiting system.

The Senior Recruiter will build strong working relationships with the colleges and universities in Ireland to develop the SAP brand further and grow our pipeline for future hires with top students from all colleges. This role may have some project work involved that will be designed to ensure SAP is attracting and retaining the highest calibre of employees, and using the most effective recruitment and selection practices in Ireland.

This role will report directly to the Director of Recruiting - Ireland.

Tasks:

  • Take full ownership for the recruitment portfolio of all lines of business in Ireland, ensuring timely and cost effective recruitment, without compromising quality, and also ensuring that the global SAP recruiting model and processes are adhered to at all times
  • Build and manage strong working relationships with all hiring managers and ensure continuous open communication in terms of the status of all recruitment activities
  • Act as a point of expertise in terms of coaching hiring managers on interviews and the evaluation of psychometric assessments
  • Source candidates, interview, perform reference checks, evaluate psychometric assessments, produce reports, and manage the overall recruiting needs and expectations of the hiring managers
  • Liaise with our office in Prague to ensure timely and efficient management of the recruitment administrative processes
  • Ensure that all aspects of recruitment are handled in an efficient and professional manner to reflect the corporate image of SAP as an employer of choice
  • Continuously analyze the effectiveness of our recruitment and selection processes in Ireland and identify areas of improvement in order to continuously raise our customer satisfaction results and time to fill
  • Perform accurate and timely maintenance of system updates
  • Ensure the recruitment budget is well adhered to and target cost per hire is maintained
  • Manage timely completion of weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruitment reports both on a local and global level
  • Build links with selected colleges of benefit (for example, career fairs, milk rounds, intern programs, sponsorship deals, advertising on Web sites, building relationships with lecturers, and so on)
Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience in a dynamic environment
  • Previous in-house recruiting experience is essential for this role, ideally in a multi-national environment
  • Experience with a recruitment-based online system is an asset
  • Degree or equivalent in human resources or business
  • Ideally a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
  • Demonstrated success of recruiting high volumes in a high pressure environment
