Reporting to the Purification Manager the person will be responsible for the following areas:
• Technical lead for purification processes and providing process and equipment related training as required.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of the purification and buffer preparation processes including process optimisation.
• Supporting technology transfer of new / existing processes to site.
• Investigating and resolving process deviations raised within the purification area.
• Preparation and updating of batch records, procedures and work instructions.
• Supporting commissioning and qualification activities as required .
• Working assigned shift patterns to meet business needs and manufacturing schedule
Requirements include:
- A relevant third level qualification in either, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Science or Engineering.
- Purification experience is a pre-requisite for this role
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience within a GMP regulated environment
