Store Manager - Athlone

Our client is one of Irelands leading convenience retail groups. Our client is currently seeking a Manager to manage all aspects of the business.

The Role

  • Fully responsible for day to day running of the convenience store
  • Fully responsible for store profit and loss, margin management and budgeted costs.
  • To support the Owner with all aspects of the business
  • To ensure that the team are trained appropriately and to the highest standard.
  • Responsibility for department layout and merchandising standards.
  • To control stocktaking procedures and stock loss / wastage preventions.
  • Responsible for store hygiene audits
  • To ensure Customer Care Service in the entire store is of the highest standard.
  • To encourage a good working relationship with all staff and with local community.
  • To develop members of staff and the management team through the use of appraisals, training and development promotion etc.


    • Skills & Experience required



  • Your will have previous experience in retail management at either a senior number two level or store managers position.
  • A people person with a commercial edge.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven retail sales track record
  • Dynamic and energetic
