Exchange Traded Funds - Operations Manager

Our Client a large Fund Adminisration operator in the Dublin Market are looking to establish a new team and require a manager for the transaction of Exchange Traded Funds or otherwise referred to as Index Share Processing.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience in managing an ETF Operations team or experience in managing a Custody Operations team with direct ETF processing responsibilities:

  • Pricing/NAV;
  • corporate actions;
  • daily settlement, income;
  • expenses and NSCC file submission


This candidate should also have a working knowledge of and ability to:

  • Oversight of procedures and systems for operations, compliance, operational partners and systems
  • Authorized Participants; Distributors and the NSCC and their roles in the daily ETF process
  • Basket creation: underlying assets and cash components
  • Methods and processes to mitigate risks related to basket creation, file transfer and trade settlements
  • Communicate with brokers to facilitate settlements and resolve trade-related issues
  • Creation and Redemption process
  • Corporate Actions and their impact upon the value of an ETF
  • Movement and processing of Free Receives and Free Delivers
  • Manages and control the daily processing and liability risks of the ETF Operations unit
  • Supervise assigned staff and perform assigned managerial responsibilities (performance reviews, etc.)
  • Participate in ETF-related sales presentations when called upon to support Sales team
