Overview
New opportunities have arisen to manage and lead the EMEIA iPhone Order Management Team within the current Order Management Organization. One opportunity is for 13 months from Aug 1st 09 to Sept 1 ‘10 and the second opportunity is for 7 months from Oct 1st ’09 to May 1st ’10. The successful candidate will have gained competency in an Operations and /or Planning role and should be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:
- Demonstrated Managerial ability to drive flawless execution to tight deadlines in partnership with other groups,
- A high level of Customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A full understanding of the Order Cycle and execution process from pre-receipt, Book, Bill, Deliver & Cash Collection
- A full understanding of Supply / Demand forecast and planning process including inventory monitoring / reporting
- Strong ability to think innovatively and drive continuous improvement
- Strong negotiation skills with good commercial awareness
Responsibilities
Order Management & Operations Execution: Manage & lead team of Order Management CSAMs to:
- Plan and execute Demand from Forecast to bookings alignment and work collaboratively to secure supply to ensure billing & delivery execution. Ensure performance to agreed SLA across the Order Management, Fulfillment and Delivery business functions. Deliver excellent Customer Service while engaging in proactive issue prevention.
- Understand & manage the demand drivers and ensure fulfillment to meet business objectives.
- Develop & manage Key Performance Indicators to monitor support & service levels. Identify and drive improvement as needed.
- Ensure thorough understanding of the Compliance requirements (Legal, Tax, VAT) environment within the region and adherence to required controls.
Stakeholder Management and business relationships:
- Co-ordinate the on-boarding of new partners internally within OM and also with Operations, Finance and Sales teams. Some familiarity with B2B for order receipt and inventory planning is desired.
- Represent Order Management & Operations at senior level externally and internally.
Team leadership & Development :
- Perform all personnel management for staff, training, coaching, performance evaluation and salary management in adherence with Apple guidelines.
- Recognize emerging talent in the team and coach to help achieve individual career objectives.
Skills & Experience
- The successful candidate will be educated to Degree Level in Economics / Business / Sales / Marketing / Operations or related discipline. Post graduate certification in CPIM or IBF an advantage.
