Part of a team of eight, the purpose of the telesales executive position is to sell advertising space to customers and in doing so achieve set targets while administering your work to a satisfactory level.

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • To contact potential customers from leads issued, present features and benefits attempt to close the call with a resulting sale.
  • To convert a minimum number of leads to sales, achieving a minimum standard average sales per hour as outlined in targets by the Sales Supervisor.
  • To be helpful, professional and courteous in the way you approach your work and each customer enquiry.
  • To complete all paperwork accurately including leads sheets, whites and pinks and pass them to your line manager at the end of each shift.
  • To answer incoming calls promptly when required and up-sell the customer.
  • To attempt to overcome customer objections and in doing so use the sales script and line managers advice as a guideline to this and closing each sale.


Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months telesales experience

  • Candidates must approach work with an upbeat, positive and determined fashion so that sales can be maximised
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Candidates must have an ability to work to tight deadlines meeting strict targets
