Quality Engineer/ Statistician

Experienced Senior Quality Engineer/Statistician required by our main client to ensure that medical devices are produced to the highest possible customer quality standard

Our main client with facilities throughout Ireland, currently employs a significantly high number of personnel across a range of functions directly and indirectly supporting their manufacturing operations.

We have worked with this client for over four & a half years to great success and remain as leading provider for their recruitment needs. Responsibilities will Include:

  1. Carrying out root cause investigations and implementing robust corrective actions in response to product or process nonconformance's
  2. Determining acceptability of potentially non-conforming devices
  3. Proactively monitoring product quality through the use of standard tools and ad-hoc analyses, and investing process out-of-control signals and Mistake-proofing processes
  4. Designing and carrying out rigorous process and equipment validations
  5. Implementing process monitoring systems
  6. Ensuring the plant complies with required industry regulations
Requirements for this role will include:

Bachelors Degree Essential with a strong focus on analytical decision making and/or statistics required; advanced degree preferred. Previous experience working in a quality role in a manufacturing environment required; experience in a regulated industry ideal.
