Equipment & Process Improvement Engineer
This position may be commutable from some of the following counties potentially for candidate's: Co. Kilkenny, Co. Tipperary, Co. Waterford, Co. Carlow, Co. Laois and Limerick. Our main client with facilities throughout Ireland, currently employs a high number of personnel across a range of functions directly and indirectly supporting their manufacturing operations.

Job Description:
- Supervises Equipment Engineering and Process Development activities on-site. Develops and drives the implementation of strategic equipment engineering programs. Responsible for activities related to technical support and process/equipment development engineering functions for current and next generation products. Plans and implements the development of new processes. Provides technical leadership and supervision to engineers and technicians. Ensures that program objectives are determined and met, logistics are effectively coordinated and budgets are adhered to. Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations ect.).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
A minimum of 6 years of related work experience with a strong understanding of equipment design, automation and qualification.
Supervision experience is required – Supervision of a group of exempt employees.
Experience in a GMP regulated environment is essential.
Project Management experience would be a distinct advantage.
