THE ROLE:
*Hard- and software development of power electronics for photovoltaic inverters and intelligent drives
*Product development from the first ideas to serial production
*Close collaboration with other team members
*Technical and commercial adjustment with product management, production planning, quality management, purchase department and so on
REQUIREMENTS:
*Finished study of electrical engineering, preferable with focus on power electronics
*Competent knowledge of active and passive components for power electronics
*Competent knowledge of open and closed loop feedback control technique
*Competent knowledge of microcontrollers
*Competent knowledge of programming in C of real-time software modules close to the hardware and of programming of real-time closed loop control algorithm
*Competent knowledge of simulation technology especially with SPICE and with MathLab
*General Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
*General Knowledge of measurement technology and of technologies for A/D-Conversion
*Preferable knowledge of photovoltaic applications
*Preferable knowledge of a structured development process for serial products and mass production
*Good interpersonal skills for efficient team working
*Previous activities in typical power electronic applications like
*Inverter for photovoltaics
*Inverter for other renewable energies
*Industrial drive electronics
*Electrical power supplies
*Uninterruptable power supplies
*Inverter and power converter in railroad applications
