HVAC Technician - based in Sakhalin Island, Russia
Location – Sakhalin Island, Russia
Rotation – 6 weeks on / 4 weeks off (leave is unpaid)
Working hours – 11 hours per day plus 1 hour unpaid lunch break, 7 days per week
Contract duration – 12 months
Accommodation, meals, local transport, medical insurance and flights on rotation provided free of charge by company
Salary: $18 per hour (net payment)
Duration: 1 year
Must have a HVAC Technician Qualification For visa purposes the ideal candidate will be an Hungarian or Turkish native Job Specification:
Job Description incl. responsibilities and tasks:-
. Inspects air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation.
• Performs regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical malfunctions; installs, replaces or repairs damaged equipment.
• Calibrates thermostatic controls.
• Installs new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
• Repairs and replaces damaged or worn heating, ventilation and air-
conditioning parts and equipment. • Replaces low and high pressure liquid lines.
• Inspects and observes pressure of liquids and vapor with instrumentation to ensure efficient operation of units and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspects and services refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, ice
machines, gas packs and heat pumps.
• Maintains the chilled and hot water supply systems.
• Adjusts and maintains internal electrical and electronic control systems; cleans coils and blowers and checks motors and belt tensions.
• Assembles and installs metal ductwork.
• Installation of heating and air-conditioning systems.
• Maintains maintenance records. Person Specification incl. core competencies required -
Must have HVAC technical trade qualification such as City & Guilds or Equivalent
Must be computer literate as appropriaet to the role
