Operations Manager required with 10+ years and at least 5 years in a managerial role with engineering background. The main skills required are :

  • 10+ years experience in a medical devices manufacturing environment
  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Polymer or Chemical discipline
  • Strong knowledge of EU and US regulations for the manufacturing and supply of medical devices.
  • Experience in selecting and assessing vendors for medical device component production and assembly
  • Experience in Design Transfer
  • Experience of performing audits of external contractors.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom manufacturing processes and methodologies
The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Manage themanufacturing, design, product development and engineering groups
  • Manage the vendor and supplier selection while interfacing with a design group in delivering the technology
  • Identify and source specialist materials suitable for specific applications of medical device development
  • Work as part of the design team to debug and resolve product design and development issues.
