Banking Reconciliations Clerk - Dublin - Online Mulitnational

Banking Reconciliation clerk required for leading multinational organisation.

There are two primary objectives of this role, of equal importance:

  • Carry out daily bank account reconciliations and maintain the cash book postings;
  • Support the department by downloading and preparing volumes of data ready for the reconciliation and investigation process performed by the PSP accountants


The Job:

  • Daily extract of various on-line bank statements and import into Reconciliation and Finance systems
  • Daily preparation, import and posting of cash book
  • Daily matching of cashbook and bank statements either manually or using reconciliation tool
  • Investigation, reporting and follow up on daily o/s entries such as Purchase Ledger postings
  • To deliver daily reconciled balances for all bank accounts in every currency and also within set deadlines at the end of the month
  • Month end routines – Balance Sheet reconciliations, reporting, analysis, review and filing
  • Daily / monthly review of bank reconciliations performed by opposite number
  • Daily, weekly, monthly download of internal transactional data, PSP transactional / statements / settlements data from multiple websites
  • Provide reports to PSP Accountants of matched and o/s entries as necessary
  • Assist PSP Accountants in investigation where entries have been processed / matched by Data Processing Clerks


The Person:

  • Proven track record of performing bank reconciliations for high volume, multi currency accounts
  • Proven track record of handling and processing large volumes of data
  • Experience of multi currency trading
  • Investigative, methodical and tenacious mind set with the self motivation to drill down through large volumes of data while clearly focussing on the end objective
  • Experience of internet businesses, PSP's and CNP transactions an advantage
