Tax Accountant required for permanent role in South Fermanagh.

  • Responsibility for tax planning and reducing effective tax rate
  • Responsibility for forecasting tax payments and inclusion of accurate tax / cash forecasts in weekly STCF and budget process
  • Managing all Tax Audits in conjunction with PWC and CFO
  • Close liason with Financial Controllers re all tax cash flows
  • Managing tax piece of audit planning process to include completion of tax checklist and liasing with Group / Unit entities regarding completion of same
  • Liasing with PWC re preparation of tax computations for group and divisions
  • Developing best practice tax policy document which would be circulated across the Group covering the key tax codes (vat, corporation tax, RCT etc), compliance timings and ensures timely reporting of tax concerns
  • Ongoing update of tax issues to Chief Financial Officer and formal summary report each month to CFO of all live tax issues / matters for consideration
  • Ensure that controls put in place to meet all tax compliance deadlines
  • Advising CFO and FCs re latest tax developments in relevant jurisdictions of operation
  • Liaising with External Tax advisors
  • Liaising with External Auditors re tax matters
  • Liaising with Group Internal Auditor
  • Liaising with Group Treasurer and Financial Controllers
  • Fee sign off
  • Other projects as appropriate
