We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist precision engineering manufacturer based in Louth for a Quality Manager.

We are looking for an Engineer with solid exerience in Quality Management Systems. the successful candidate will ideally have a background in precision engineering and understand machinery and metals.

Key Duties include:

  • Managing the Quality process on all projects
  • Managing the Quality Management System, including product inspection, corrective action systems, internal and external audits, calibration management and new product introduction.
  • Meeting suppliers and clients as company representative during client audits etc.
  • Training staff on procedures, quality documentation
  • Maintaining the companys ISO EN 9001: 2008 Accreditation.
The successful candidate MUST demonstrate the following:

  • A proven background in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Proven record of making decisions relative to quality and compliance taking into consideration sound engineering and regulatory requirements whilst understanding the impact to the business
  • Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline
  • Experience in implementing BS 13485
  • A strong work history in machining metals, tolerances and surface finishes.
Ideally you will have a career thusfar in a similar manufacturing environment ideally within Medical devices or Aerospace industry.
